All our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

We currently have physicians on staff at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Edward Hospital in Naperville, and the Center For Surgery in Naperville.

 

Anthony Altimari, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Dr. Altimari received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. He has been in practice since 1988.

Dr. Altimari is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His practice scope includes breast disease, thyroid disorders, colon surgery, gallbladder and hernia surgery. He has special interests in gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), breast disorders, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and cancer surgery. He has lectured extensively on topics such as advanced minimally invasive surgery, hernia, breast surgery and Nissen fundoplication.

During his career, Dr. Altimari has served as Department of Surgery Chairman and Director of the Trauma Department at Central DuPage Hospital. He also served a s a member of the Board of Directors at Central DuPage Hospital.

Louis Montana, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Dr. Montana graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, and received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his general surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Montana has been in private practice in DuPage County since 1992.

Dr. Montana is a specialist in general surgery with an expertise in the treatment of gallbladder, hernia and breast disorders. He also has a special interest and training in pediatric surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Montana has participated on numerous committees at Edward Hospital including serving as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Board. He is currently the Chairman of the Department of Surgery.

David Klem, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Dr. Klem received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago where he was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. In 1992, he was awarded Surgical Intern of the Year. He completed his general surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. He joined DuPage Surgical Consultants in 1996.

Dr. Klem is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is interested in the surgical management of obesity, advanced laparoscopic surgeries and disorders of the breast. He is the Medical Director of the Bariatric Treatment Center at Central DuPage Hospital. Dr. Klem's work has been published in the national literature and he has taught courses in techniques of breast surgery.

Dr. Klem's administrative duties include serving as the Medical Director of Surgery and Chairman of the Peer Review Committee at Central DuPage Hospital.

James Wielgolewski, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Dr. Wielgolewski received his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and remained at Loyola University Medical Center for completion of his general surgery residency. He then went on to pursue his interest in colon and rectal surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He has been in practice since 1980 and joined DuPage Surgical Consultants in 1997.

Dr. Wielgolewski is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of colon and Rectal Surgeons. He is interested in disorders of the colon, rectum and anus; including hemorrhoids, colon cancer, diverticulitis and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

During his career he has served as President and Secretary of the medical staff at Edward Hospital and President of the Chicago Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Gregory Grant, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Dr. Gregory Grant is originally from Springfield Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Eastern Illinois University in 1988 and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1992. He completed a surgical internship and began his General Surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan and completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Peoria in 1997.

He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Grant joined DuPage Surgical Consultants in 2000. Dr. Grant has special interest and expertise in malignant and benign disorders of the breast. He performs a wide variety of minimally invasive breast surgery including breast conservation, sentinel lymph node biopsy, in office breast biopsies and MammoSite catheter placement for partial breast breast radiation. His other passion is minimally invasive surgery including gallbladder, hernia and colon surgery.

He currently holds the position of Chairman of Surgery at Edward Hospital. He sits on several committees including the Medical Executive Committee and the Quality Committee of the Board. He holds membership to the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, DuPage Medical Society and the Midwest Surgical Society.

He has full privileges at Edward Hospital, Central DuPage Hospital and the Plainfield Surgery Center. He is currently seeing patients at our Naperville office, on the campus of Edward Hospital and in Plainfield.

He lives in Naperville with his wife Chris and their 4 children.

Noemi Sigalove, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Noemi Sigalove, M.D. completed her undergraduate education at Northwestern University, with a BA in Neurobiology and Physiology. She then received her medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and went on to complete her General Surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Sigalove has been a general surgeon in the Western Suburbs since 1999, joining DuPage Surgical Consultants in 2002. She enjoys living in the community she serves, and currently resides in Glen Ellyn with her husband and two children.

Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Sigalove practices the full scope of general surgery with expertise in diseases of the breast. Her areas of interest also include gallbladder surgery, care of hemorrhoids and hernia surgery. Dr. Sigalove is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Trained in advanced breast surgery and certified in breast ultrasound, Dr. Sigalove provides comprehensive care for breast patients. She treats benign and malignant breast disease, performs in-office diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound guided breast biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, breast conservation surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, mastectomy, axillary lymph node dissection, and placement of brachytherapy balloon catheter for radiation therapy. Dr. Sigalove understands the apprehension women often feel regarding breast problems, and she strives to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which to take care of patients with respect and compassion.

Dr. Sigalove sees patients at the Wheaton Office, and is on Staff at Central DuPage Hospital, Edward Hospital, and the Center for Surgery.

Fluent in Spanish, she welcomes Spanish speaking patients.

Bart P. Green, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Bart P. Green, M.D., F.A.C.S. received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and remained at the University of Kansas for completion of his general surgery residency. He moved to Naperville in 1996 to begin his practice in surgery and joined DuPage Surgical Consultants in 2004.

Dr. Green is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. As a board-certified Surgeon, his expertise includes gastrointestinal, breast, gallbladder, hernia and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is experienced in colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He has a special interest in the treatment of breast and colorectal cancer. As a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, he actively participates in minimally invasive breast biopsy techniques and state of the art breast cancer therapy.

During his career, Dr. Green has published articles in surgical journals and presented papers at national meetings. He is currently the Director of Trauma at Edward Hospital and the President of the Board at the Plainfield Surgery Center.

Paul Signorino, M.D.


Dr. Signorino is board certified in General Surgery and has been with DuPage Surgical Consultants since 2007. He is trained in all aspects of general surgery including breast disease, advanced laparoscopic surgery, vascular access, hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, colorectal disease and endocrine surgery. Some of his interests include minimally invasive breast surgery such as sentinel lymph node biopsies, in-office breast biopsies, and stereotactic breast biopsies. Dr. Signorino is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Signorino is a native of Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and received his BA in Neuroscience. He received his MD from the American University of the Carribean. Following medical school, Dr. Signorino completed his general surgery residency program at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. While there, he completed a research fellowship and has presented papers nationally with publications in surgical journals. Dr. Signorino also has international experience including an externship with the NHS in England.

Dr. Signorino has full privileges at Edward Hospital in Naperville, at the Outpatient & Surgicenter at Edward Plainfield, and at Central DuPage Hospital. He is currently seeing patients at the Naperville office and the Outpatient Center at Edward-Plainfield.

Thomas W. Tomasik, M.D.


Dr. Tomasik received his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and completed his residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Tomasik is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, and has been in practice since 1993, when he first joined DuPage Surgical Consultants. In 1996, Dr. Tomasik left DuPage to enter private practice, before eventually returning to DuPage Surgical Consultants in 2007. His surgical interests include breast biopsy, breast disease, laparoscopic surgery, pediatric surgery, robotic surgery and sentinel node biopsy.

Currently, Dr. Tomasik holds full hospital privileges at Central DuPage Hospital, Delnor Hospital, Center for Surgery, Tri-Cities Surgery Center and Edward Hospital.
